NSPCC Speak Out, Stay Safe
This week, we have been thinking about how we keep ourselves safe using the NSPCC Speak Out, Stay Safe programme. Feeling safe, and knowing when and how to ask for help supports our mental health and wellbeing. On Thursday 12th March, Mrs Johnson led a special school assembly using the NSPCC Speak Out, Stay Safe resources. The assembly included recognising different types of abuse and understanding that these are not acceptable. The assembly and lesson that followed, explored how Speaking Out is very important, and how we can do this, so that we all stay safe. We learnt the phone number for Childline - 0800 1111 Here's a link to the Childline website.

There are lots of resources to help us to look after our wellbeing so we have a positive mindset. If you are looking for ideas, here are some great websites:
Zones of Regulation
At school, we use the Zones of Regulation to help us understand, recognise and positively manage our feelings. The Zones also help us to talk about how we feel, as sometimes this can be tricky. The picture below explains the different feelings we might be feeling, and all of them are normal and part of who we are.
