Nursery
Welcome to our Nursery page! We provide a range of information for our parents, carers and wider community on these pages, and we love to share with you all the exciting learning that we do. We also share lots of the children's work on Tapestry.
Later this term, we will be offering our very popular Stay and Play sessions for children aged 2-4 years. These are free sessions that are open to children in the community to attend (you do not need to attend the school to come along) so contact us on 01892 520114 if you would like to book a place. Our next Stay and Play session is a Forest School session run by the school with the Kent High Weald Trust. See the leaflet below for more information.

Safeguarding in Early Years
At Bishops Down Primary School and Nursery, our most important responsibility is to safeguard all the children who attend our school. We do this in lots of different ways, working with parents, the children, with Kent County Council and Children's Social Services and the wider community. We have a policy called the Early Years Supervision Policy that sets out how we keep children safe whilst in our care.

There are also lots of resources available for parents to start talking to their children about keeping safe, even at this early age. At school, we use the NSPCC Speak Out, Stay Safe resources for lessons and assemblies. Here is a link to NSPCC website, that provides parents with information and advice for first conversations.
